"Another week, another hotel room.  This was (by far) the smallest of the three rooms.  Note that once we had the luggage in the room, we couldn't even get around the bed.  Then Becca stuck my stuff in the closet.  The closet was next to the bed.  You do the math.";

ImageDescription[1]=
"At least the view was a bit better than Venice.";

ImageDescription[2]=
"I have no idea what a Spleen Shop does, or how much they charge, but the door says their hours are Monday from 3pm to 7pm, Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 7pm, and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm.  I wonder why they didn't just say Sunday-Monday 3pm-7pm?\n\nBy the way, you like how I purposely caught my reflection, don't you?";

ImageDescription[3]=
"These things were all over the arrondissment (which is kinda like a really big neighborhood...Paris is divided into 20 of them).  This one (and three others) were on the side of the building across the street.  We saw others hanging from trees and even one hanging on the outside one of the subway stations.  The pink writing says 'More'.  I never was able to figure out what they were.";

ImageDescription[4]=
"The area to the west of the river is called Rive Gauche (Left Riverbank).  It's where all the artists, philosphers and other hip folk hang out.  We blended in like pink combat boots.";

ImageDescription[5]=
"There were several experts in Paris."

ImageDescription[6]=
"This is the Moulin Rouge, made famous by Henri Toulouse-Lautrec's poster ('La Goulue' which was the name of the woman featured on the poster, and means 'The Glutton') and later by Nicole Kidman.  I'll wait for the video.";

ImageDescription[7]=
"Every honeymoon should have a romantic kiss photo.  This would have been ours if Becca hadn't been looking at the camera.";

ImageDescription[8]=
"Sometime around midnight, the tower lights up with a bunch of strobe lights, making it sparkle a lot.";

ImageDescription[9]=
"Also sometime around midnight, the tower moves about the square quickly, resulting in blurry photographs.";

ImageDescription[10]=
"I think this must be a new outdoor exhibit at the Louvre called 'White Trash'.  All they need is a couple of broken down cars to complete the effect.";

ImageDescription[11]=
"They stuck this ugly glass pyramid in the courtyard of the Louvre.  Then, just to add insult to injury, they make you enter the museum through it.";

ImageDescription[12]=
"This painting had a bunch of people crowding in front of it, so I thought I should take a picture, too.";

ImageDescription[13]=
"The Louvre is big.  And you have to walk.  You do the math.";

ImageDescription[14]=
"Many of the Metropolitain (subway) stops are marked by entrances like this.  I thought they were pretty cool, for frogland.";

ImageDescription[15]=
"Entrance to Notre Dame was free (though they charge for the towers).  They do sell guides (pocket and full size, each in various languages) and medallions to mark your visit, though.  If you just want to light a candle for someone, that costs you too.  The amount is 'up to you'.  How much do you think you should leave?";

ImageDescription[16]=
"Not to be confused with the Catacombs (which we didn't get the chance to do).  This is an archeological dig under the courtyard of Notre Dame which exposes several cellars and artifacts from about the 3rd to the 18th centuries.  It was kind of interesting, but the people who work there aren't very enthusiastic.  You also have this urge to whisper while you're down there, even though there's nothing that says you should.";

ImageDescription[17]=
"This is a tall brick tower next to the Eiffel Tower.  I don't know what it is for, and it doesn't look like it's connected to anything (maybe they're hiding stuff underground).";

ImageDescription[18]=
"This is the second level of the Eiffel Tower.  The top level was closed from the day before we arrived through the day we left.  I'm guessing we weren't meant to go up to the top.";

ImageDescription[19]=
"There was a family of ducks in the pond next to the Eiffel Tower.  Becca made me take pictures.  She liked the little yellow one.";

ImageDescription[20]=
"With the exception of it being located on the sidewalk, selling nothing but gas, and having 98 octane for premium, this is probably just like every other Shell station you've seen.";

ImageDescription[21]=
"We're not exactly sure what this was.  It had three holes on the inside.  it might have been a fountain, or maybe it's just art.  Who knows.";

ImageDescription[22]=
"European sensibilities differ slightly from Americans.  I don't think you'll see this poster at the Marta station in Atlanta anytime soon.";

ImageDescription[23]=
"This is a flower I bought Becca at Cafe de Flore, which she insisted we visit.  Apparently it was featured in some television program they showed her in French class.";

ImageDescription[24]=
"And so we come to the end of another week, and thus the end of the honeymoon.  Do we look like we're ready to go home?";
