"After we made our way through several hundred chambers, we got to see inside the Capella Sistina.  It was truly amazing.  We had to sneak this no flash picture, since there aren't supposed to be any photographs taken inside the chapel.  This was particularly difficult because other people kept taking flash pictures, so they were always looking around for anyone with a camera.  So no complaints if it's somewhat blurry.";

"This is the 'Mouth of Truth'.  This thing was promoted from Roman sewer cover to superstitious icon.  If you put your hand in it's mouth and tell a lie, it's supposed to bite your hand off.  Tony made sure to check on his health insurance coverage in Europe before putting _his_ hand in."

"So this statue is a big deal in Rome, but you have to be Sherlock Holems to find it.  They have it hidden in a room of the conservatory.  The security person got in our picture, but we cut her out."

"This is the cat sanctuary where over 250 cats live amoung the ruins.  Apparently it's been around a long time.  They have a website at www.romancats.com, but I have yet to check it out."

"Ponte Rotto ('Broken Bridge').  This bridge had already collapsed twice when it was last rebuilt in the mid-16th century.  It broke again before 1600.  They couldn't get it to stay, so they just built another one right next to it."
