Technically, each fold *is* half, but no, I didn't do each fold at 90 degress of the previous fold.
There's a Mythbusters episode for this. They did it...it just took a big sheet of paper (they started with one that was like 100 ft squared). The ability to do so is dependent on the thickness and size of the paper.
